National delegates
The UEMS is the representative organisation of the National Associations of Medical Specialists in the European Union and its associated countries.
The UEMS Section of Surgery has also, at its level, delegates who represent within the UEMS Section of Surgery their national surgical association.

Additionally, there exists a close collaboration between the UEMS and the European Junior Doctors Association for several years. For this collaboration, the EJD appoints to each UEMS Section a representative who participates in the meetings and discussions of the Section and discussion.
